YNA Explains What Is it Like To Be A Nudist

What Is it Like To Be A Nudist?

What Is it Like To Be A Nudist – For starters, this image below is a representation of how nudists are perceived in today’s society as well as how nudists see themselves. We hope you like it :) Think of it as our little way of shedding some light on how we ourselves are perceived by many in today’s society. Then see our very own interpretation of how we young nudists and naturists see ourselves!

Nudism explained:

Many people in America, which is still largely puritanical, look askance at nudism. Some have been citing it as one of the wayward social developments of the 20th century. It might surprise them to learn that Alfred Kinsey (founder of the Institute for Sex Research at Indiana University) reported the naturist lifestyle was present in 20% of American homes. Far from being a prurient or deviant practice, a substantial portion of people in the U.S. recognize that nudism offers a means to regain the integrity one had as a child.

Nudists And Their Philosophy:

As a person grows up in America, he / she is often subjected to influences that induce body shame. Cultural institutions like religion drive into us the belief that we and especially our bodies are inherently sinful. In essence we need to be saved from ourselves. Islam and Catholicism are punitive, forcing many, especially women, to live in fear for something that should come as naturally to them as the air they breathe.

Advertising and the fashion industry present an assault on the self esteem of any viewer. It keeps coercing us into feeling that we, as our natural selves, are insufficient and this inadequacy can only be remedied by using their products. Untold amounts of energy are wasted on the needless anxiety that these trends produce.

Contrast this alienation with the simple, healthy lifestyle of the nudists. In the nudist naturist community you will be accepted as you are. Imagine not having to bother with the endless baggage, both actual and psychological, that the “textilists” impose. No longer will the thing that houses your soul be viewed as a fetish object or something to be laughed at.

The integrity and acceptance that nudism encourages stands in stark contrast to the assault on the ego that airbrushed images perpetrate. As a nudist, you will see the body as it was meant to be in all its individuality.

nudism is a way to combat the unhealthy strictures that conservatives have imposed on America in recent decades. At a nudist resort you will, for the first time in many years, be truly free. The respect and the self-respect at these places is truly unusual. The nudist resorts and various functions are virtually the only places where one can relax and be oneself without worry.

Some cite safety as a concern when considering a visit to a nudist community. You will be reassured and happy to know that the admission requirements are stricter than those of the best country clubs. Some might do background checks to ensure that your stay will be pleasant and beneficial. There is less of a chance that something will happen to you or your loved ones at a nudist resort than at Disneyland.

nudism is a way of life for people looking to create a community based on health and physical fitness. Its practitioners often cultivate habits that smarter and healthier that those of the mainstream. These habits include nude yoga and vegetarianism. It is all part of an outlook on life that promotes the unencumbered actualization of the individual.

The thought that nudists put into their lifestyle makes certain that few have regretted their decision to become clothes-free. The psychological benefits are impressive. The world has become so oppressive that it is time for a natural solution.
