Body Image Issues and Promoting Body Acceptance

Body Image by YNA – Body acceptance is also referred to as being body positive. This approach could, or at least should, be considered the motto for social nudism.

It means a complete acceptance of the human body. Regardless of race, age, or proportions, those who practice body acceptance, are accepting of their bodies and, in an ideal world, do not mind if the whole world sees them.

There is no sense of embarrassment or shame.

Body acceptance could be the foundation for a way of life. One in which participants have a total freedom with the body that is truly liberating.

There is no need to be ashamed of the body itself. Those who engage in full body acceptance may choose to engage in social nudity. They may participate in any activity without a need for clothing and the best part is that they don’t feel self conscious or ashamed of what their body looks like.
