Young Nudists Moving Nudism Forward Into The Future
Young Nudists Pushing Nudism Into The Future!
Young Nudists and the future:
Young Nudists – – Someone wise said to me recently, “You can’t look backward and forward at the same time.” This is so true! If we focus only on the past and where we’ve come from, we miss the opportunity to focus on where we are now and which direction we choose to go in.
How does this philosophy apply to us, you ask? As young nudists living in a nudist world that consists of mostly older naturists, we’ll likely find out about the “good old days” from those around us. There is nothing wrong with reminiscing now and again, but to focus only on how great the old days were prevents us from doing anything to create good new days in the future. So, yes, enjoy the memories and listen to those around you to get ideas, but then implement those ideas into a future that is going to be wonderful. For example, don’t just talk about the fun you had on the slip-n-slide at a YNA event, plan a longer slip-n-slide for the next one!
Within young nudist organizations, there is a lot of history, too. This is focused on all too often, which leads groups to continue to squabble over who did what, when, why, and to whom. How does this help anyone? Basically, it doesn’t. If the young nudist summit that I’ve heard about does occur, I truly hope that this will be a time to focus on how to go forward rather than reveling in the past that we wish weren’t there or bringing up silly discussions that aren’t relevant, like whether or not it’s ok to use a pseudonym. Instead of looking at the past and what didn’t work, let’s look to the future and choose what will work for then. If different young nudist groups need to not interact just yet, that’s fine. Just focus on where you’re going and how you’re going to contribute to nudism or the young nudist movement.

Great post - there is only one way in life and that is forward, Why dwell on the past. I think there will be a whole new generation of nude people out there and I am looking forward to see what happens. I myself is not a young naturist (39yrs). But I love new movements... Example i think social medias will change a lot on nudism, naturism and naked lovers. http://www.spotnaked.com/facebook-generation-of-nudists-naturist/121/ Might find more inspiration on http:///www.spotnaked.com /Peter
Excellent article. I agree look to the future, don't dwell on the past. You guys are doing a great job promoting nude recreation. Don't forget though many of us "older" nudists" were once young nudists like yourselves as you can read in our first experience here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/tom-mulhall/how-one-night-of-skinny-dipping_b_1633036.html
